If you too are going to do bank related work this month (November 2021), be sure to read this news first.  If you have to do any work related to the bank, do it today.  Banks will have 5 consecutive days off from tomorrow. In fact, festivals like Dhanteras, Diwali, Bhai Dooj, Chhath Puja, Guru Nanak Jayanti are coming this month.  In such a scenario, banks will be closed for a total of 17 days this month.

Due to the festival, banks will be closed for 5 consecutive days from today in the month of November.  However, these holidays will be in different states of the country.  According to the holidays issued by the RBI, banks in Bangalore will be closed tomorrow i.e. on November 3 due to Narak Chaturdashi. Also, on November 4, Diwali will be celebrated across the country, causing banks to be closed in all states except Bengaluru.  After this, banks are closed in many states on November 5.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a list of official bank holidays for the month of November, according to which there are 17 holidays in November.  In the meantime, banks in many Indian cities will remain closed.  Let me tell you that this 17-day holiday also includes weekly holidays. According to RBI guidelines, banks are closed on Sundays as well as on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.  Under the Negotiable Instruments Act, the RBI has declared holidays on November 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 19, 22 and 23.  
There are also four Sundays in the month and the second and fourth Saturday of the month.
