Election Line App of Election Commission of India. Voters have never had the convenience of voter-centric features provided through a mobile app. All services were either available in physical format or scattered across various websites and apps. The voter had to either fill out a physical form or visit a website. Likewise, filing a complaint was a difficult task. As the ECI’s main website contains information for all stakeholders, the average voter had great difficulty navigating and finding the content
Voter Helpline App is a comprehensive application for Indian voters that allows them to search their names in the electoral roll, submit voter registration and amendment forms, download their voter cards with digital photos, file complaints, search candidate details and most importantly see real-time election results.
19 million (1.9 million) users used the Voter Helpline mobile app to look up their names on the electoral roll.
With 2,16,81,289 (2.16 million or 21 million) downloads and 1,53,604 (1.53 lac or 153,000) user feedback, this national award-winning app has established itself as a major tool for citizen empowerment. The seed of the Voting Line was sown in 2016 when a new website for the electoral commission was planned. In the process of designing the new website, the Voting Line concept had humble beginnings. At this stage, the project was named “ECI Citizen App” and the original goal was to display in a mobile application, the main content of the ECI website.

However, we soon identified 5 core but disparate applications that made perfect sense to all of us at ECI, but made no sense to voters. For us at ECI, each application was as important as the other, and each application justified its independent existence. But in turn, we were sending our hapless voters to five different websites to transact.
The Voter Helpline app was the most important mobile app of the Election Commission of India. 53 million election searches were conducted through the mobile application.
With the advent of the Booth App, searching for polling booths has become very easy and fast with the help of a QR code. The ballot contains a QR code that is scanned by election officials at the polling station. Now voters can also download their voter cards with digital photos from the Voter Helpline mobile app. This process involves linking their mobile phone to the EPIC card mobile phone. Digital photo ballots can be shown in the polling station instead of a physical photo ballot.
The ICT division of the Election Commission of India has embarked on a new initiative and designed a mobile application to develop a culture of passionate electoral engagement and informed and ethical voting decisions among the citizens સીટીઝન of the country. The app was first launched on 30 August 2018 and was brought into mainstream use with the 2019 Lok Sabha elections
This application (એપ્લિકેશન ) will allow users to easily find the information they are looking for. Citizens can browse the app based on their own interests and learn more about the electoral process in a more engaging way.
The Election Commission of India has significantly upgraded this citizen interface to accommodate a growing user base as the Election Commission of India continues to expand into new technological areas and meet the demands of massive information dissemination to its 87.5 million voters during general elections.

Continuing its continuous efforts to build an active democratic citizenry in the country, the Election Commission of India has launched a new initiative by designing a mobile application to develop a culture of passionate electoral engagement and making informed and ethical electoral decisions among the citizens of the country.
